Clinical Psychologist 

Dr Lucy Arnsby-Wilson is a chartered and registered clinical psychologist who has been working in mental health services since 2005.  She is currently the lead psychologist in a child and adolescent service. Lucy has extensive experience of working with young people and adults experiencing a range of challenges,  of all ages and all abilities and their families. 

Using evidence-based practices, she works in an integrative way, providing a therapy that is tailored to the client.  She is a trained EMDR (eye movement and desensitisation reprocessing) practitioner and is often told that she has the ability to reach the ‘hardest to engage’ young people with her warm, authentic approach. Lucy has additional expertise in neurodevelopmental disorders, (Autism, ADHD), in working with adopted and looked after children and people with learning disabilities. She acts as a consultant and clinical supervisor to other clinicians and foster carers. Lucy also provides expert witness services in the area of immigration and asylum, family, criminal and civil law. 

Lucy is the co-founder and director of the UK's first 'Young People's Yoga Therapy Teacher Training' and a  Senior Teacher Trainer and practitioner for the Total Yoga Nidra Network (a meditation practice).  She lives in rural Gloucestershire with her family and is available for appointment in person by arrangement in either Stroud, London or Cheltenham.
